Governance

AISFD operates through a decentralized governance framework.

In each country of operation, activities are conducted through a local entity governed by a Board structured around three statutory components:

• The Investment Advisory Committee (IAC), based in London, responsible for investment strategy and the review of opportunities;

• The Development & Impact Committee (DIC), based in Geneva, ensuring alignment of projects with development objectives, sustainability standards, and impact considerations;

• A local Project Implementation Unit (PIU), responsible for the operational execution of projects.

This structure ensures a clear separation between strategic investment guidance, impact oversight, and operational implementation.
